New paper in Chem.—Eur. J.

We have a new review out in Chem.—Eur. J.! Govinda and Roshan discuss the mechanisms by which an attached chirality center can influence the preferred configuration of an otherwise achiral, dynamic foldamer helix. This is not just a survey of the literature. We reevaluated many examples from the literature in order to establish general principles for understanding this process.

Cartoon depiction of chiral induction for helical foldamers. Shows a chirality center with large, medium, and small groups, drawn as a Newman projection, that experiences steric clashes with a helical ribbon.
