Huge thanks to the NSF MRI program, which has funded a new NMR spectrometer for the department. This instrument will bring several new capabilities, including an autosampler (for greatly increased throughput of teaching and research samples), advanced 19F capabilities, and a flow accessory.

New paper in J. Chem. Educ.
Our latest paper is out in J. Chem. Educ.! In collaboration with the Yezierski group, we have developed an undergraduate teaching lab on the self-assembly of macrocycles under thermodynamic control. The lab combined elements of experimental and computational chemistry to probe the importance of strain in these systems.

Our latest paper is out in Chem. Commun.! In collaboration with the Konkolewicz Group, we show that transient crosslinked polymer materials can be generated using carbodiimide-fueled carboxylic acid coupling.
